Modded my recon, still absolutely gutless no real effect removed restrictor crap and lengthened spring a bit.
My element handgun gets 4 times the range. Streamlines from my recon fall maybe 3 metres in front of me.

Any clues what is wrong or what i may have done wrong please help, cheers.

check to if the spring is straight if it not straight it cos it could be putting pressure on the plunger.

i reckon your catch spring is missing its spring or you have put it in wrong if it dosnt stay back.

So it doesn't cock probably or does it cock but doesn't stay cocked, if so your catch is in the wrong spot or the spring is stuffed. Ill wait till my mum gets back from work and ill post a picture of what it should look like, but with out the magazine lock.

I managed to get the spring down in size a bit,the spring sounded as though it was jamming and bunching up guessing due to being oversize.. ?

It must've been binding on the catch.

Anyways it's alright now but the range is still pretty ordinary. Not too happy with it.

Looking at modding my raider i might be a little more careful and get a proper aftermarket spring for that etc.

    Also,

covering the air release with e-tape if you could show us a little snapshot of yours that would be good cheers.
