Hello fellow Australian nerfers, I am new to this site so I hope this topic is suitable the for general nerf section. Please inform me immediately so that I could delete this.

Anyway to the topic, I have looked around your forum and looked at the paint jobs of nerf guns and was wondering, how do you paint your nerf gun? I just want to know because my painting is terrible and need some help, maybe some good advice.
This is how I paint my nerf gun.

    1. I take out all the internals and put the shell on newspaper
    2. I use White Knight paint and just paint it
    3. When it's dry I put it back all together
    4. Then use brush paint and paint for detail

That is how I do it but, I want to know how you paint your nerf gun?
You can tell me in steps send me links or just tell me some good advice on what kind of paint I should use etc
    Thank you
I hope my grammar is correct. I am not good at English sorry

I would highly recommend sanding the shell before you paint it, it gives it a much greater chance of the paint not chipping. Also dont give it one really thick coat(which I'm assuming you have done, prove me wrong if you havn't), give it 5 or so thin coats with a gap of 5 minutes between painting on each coat. Otherwise I'm pretty new to painting guns as well.

How I painted my LS (see it here)

    1) Sanded shell for around 2 hours
    2) Sprayed flat black base coat
    3) 3 coats of green spray paint
    4) Lightly resanded
    5) 2 coats of hand painting

Done! (all the paints I use are White Knight)
