Cost - $74 (JB Hifi), $90 (Target, Kmart)

    First the gun.
The Switchshot is really comfortable to hold and is smaller than you think. It comes with 3 screamer darts (cool as) and gets around 30ft unmodded. I opened it up (only 4 screws) and added a NF spring but had to remove it as it wouldn’t catch. So a added a Star Wars Rebel Trooper Blaster spring which fit perfect and replaced the barrel with CPVC. I also replaced the catch spring with a small spring from my LS. I put it back together and are now pushing NF ranges, around 65ft. I recommend you buy the gun only if you have a Wii and you get it with the game. They are avalible from Target as the gun itself (no game) for $30, which it kind of a rip if you aren’t going to use it with a Wii

Now the game, not much to say. It is okay I guess but there are much better games avalible. It is pretty fun but can get a little boring.

While I’m here, the Strikefire is awesome! Buy one now, mod it and you’ll have a beast of a little gun.

It isn't called CPVC but it have the exact same ID as it so it is easier to call it CPVC. I get it from Bunnings for $7 for 2.5 metres.

I've got 2 Switchshots meself and have also modded a third as a present (for a female friend of my wife's and she LOVED it ).

Haven't played with adding pipes/brass/new springs, but simply boring out the end of the plunger and removing the AR makes a huge difference to the performance.

BTW, howdy! This's my first post. : )
