    hey i was just wondering if you really need the crappy little black piece that is the bolt lock (it's really pissing me off) on the longshot if not what is the outcome?

    No you don't I have mine taken out just sometimes the bolt gets stuck, so you can use the jam door if it gets stuck it works the same as cocking it normaly

    if closed mine up ive got a c-836 spring and ars removed, reinforced boltsled but i need a better catch spring hmmmm?

    Have you angle breached it? If so go ahead and get rid of it but if not take it out see how it handles and if it doesn't handle good put it back in.

    The bolt lock is what makes the recon and longshot (and all recon remakes) not slide back when cocked.
