    polycarbonate (lexan) sheets

    Hi i was wondering if anyone knew where to aquire some polycarbonate sheets (also known as lexan sheets) in Melbourne?
    For those of you who dont know what it is is a sort of clear thick plastic sorta stuff often used as an alternative to glass.
    PM me if you have any idea...

    and before you ask yes i did a search and no there were not any results

    I am not sure...I want some aswell, for other reasons though. My uncle has some. I'll ask him again and get back to you on where. A PVC shop maybe?

    I think i have seen polycarbonate at bunnings, was 1/8" thick which was too thin to make anything out of. Also it was 1m^2 and was like $60, MDF seemed to be a better choice at the time. i think i recall seeing it close to the hard woods?? not sure... it was a few years ago

    I think it also call perspex witch you can buy at bunnings warehouse.
