An idea = FoamBook, a directory of Nerfers

First of all, I really love the name It's a rip off of "phonebook", and "FaceBook", in case it wasn't bleedingly obvious.

Anyways. I propose that we should have a directory of all active nerfers, in a stickied thread, probably in the "Welcome to Oz Nerf" subforum. It should be broken down into state categories, with each member listed underneath. Each entry would then list (with their permission, of course), email, a link to PM them, youtube, links to pictures of their guns, that sort of thing. I understand that there may be some stigma to do with minors, and privacy, and that sort of thing, but I think it would be a great idea, and would make newbies feel more welcome, as they could look up other nerfers near to them.

Good idea, but it would be a HUGE job to keep it up to date. If you think you can handle it, go ahead. That's what I did for the nerf event list.

I know what you mean, but having full names, phone numbers, addresses and all that stuff freely visible on the net... you can understand that it is a privacy risk. Who knows whose hands that information could end up. There's also that whole shizzle about minors and adults and all that crap. If you want that sort of info, use msn or the PM system here.

Okay, I am actually calling you a bona-fide GENIUS now. It's going to be a shit-ton of work, but if you do it and keep up with it, you should DEFINITELY be made a contributor. I'll post up my entry as soon as I can be fucked (which may take a while, I'm a little busy at the moment.
