Longstrike vs Longshot

Im extremely new to nerf and have only just purchased my first Maverick of which im enjoying very much. However with Target currently having a toy sale i looked into getting myself a Longshot but for the life of me the gun is a bit ugly and looks very bulky. I then came across the Longstrike on fishpond and its much more aesthetically pleasing however i have a few question about both the guns.

In regards to both the Longshot and the Longstrike which do YOU personally prefer and what are the stock ranges of both the guns?

Sorry if this question has been asked before and if its in the wrong area but any feedback on both guns would be much appreciated.

Well, if you had done the slightest of research you would of found out the well the longstrike sucks ass, for modding potential the longshot is the way to go.

Thing is im not really sure if im going to mod the gun or not. In terms of range and power what do both guns achieve?

I think guns have similar ranges out of the box? Please correct me if I'm wrong

Longshots are fairly decent out of the box for a toy.

For power, it's a toy, so enough to make the dart fly, but not enought to hurt anyone's precious little baby.

Think i will just go with the Longshot then as it seems to be the weapon of choice over the Longstrike.

Im not really fussed about if its unique or not haha, im just going through a big kid stage and want something i can shoot the gf with

I think that you need a third voting option on the list - 'This is an exceedingly gay thread and I should be pipe beaten and then fed to bull ants for a slow and agonising death'. But unless you are a MilSim FANATIC, then don't buy the Longstrike over the Longshot.

Im pretty sure i will go for the Longshot if it has a better stock trange than the Longstrike.

Just wish the Longstrike wasnt so dam sexy.
