Re: Available Nerf Blasters in Australia
I'm not sure if they are still there, but I know that in Carindale a shop called Toyland was having a sale. They were selling about 7-8 longshots for $50 and 4-5 vulcans for $60. Best price I have seen in retail for both of those guns. Note this info is a few days old, so there is a chance that they are gone now. Also I noticed that Big-W and K-mart were selling NFs $10 regular price.

Alpha Troopers in Adelaide, at Target Marion. Gooni has one, and the stock range is a lil better than a stock raider.

For a run of the mill reverse plunger gun they aren't bad.
Seem to pack a little bit more punch than standard raider/recons but maybe i got a good one. Who knows.
Pump action handle is a nice touch.
For $29 you can't really complain. Though they could have supplied a stock.

Re: Available Nerf Blasters in Australia
No it doesn't.. read the fine print: $29 EACH meaning both the ammo boxes and magstrikes are $29.. this is a saving for the magstrike but the regular price for the ammo box

Target in Hoppers Crossing on 2010-11-04 at 2:30pm.
Noteable stock:
~20 Alpha Troopers
~30 Reflexs
~20 Clear Mavericks
Still looking for an updated source of Barricades around Melbourne.

Re: Available Nerf Blasters in Australia
I cleared out Newton Target of Alpha Troopers (they only had 2) so this is just confirmation that they are spreading around Adelaide. Newton was restocking as I was there though so you might find some more there.
People are commenting saying they're not sure if they're more powerful than recons or if they just got a good one, well both of mine have noticeably more kick than a stock recon, so they do seem to be a little different.. no idea why.. but useful for FFL

Re: Available Nerf Blasters in Australia
Actually no. Aj I'm sure you've looked down the barrel and the Air Restriction is different. It's not three prongs. I saw Coop772's modification and when he drilled out the alpha trooper, no spring came out.
That might be the reason why the alpha trooper is better stock.

Re: Available Nerf Blasters in Australia
Has anyone seen an alpha trooper in Perth? Preferably south of the river.
Given that others on the forum have seen them at around $30 it seems worthwhile to get one, even just for using the 18 round clip on my longshot. Another option would be a raider, but I've only seen those at toyworld for $80.
Thanks,
Steve

Target at TTP in Adelaide is having a sale or something, picked up an Element EX-6 Action kit for $35.00. I also saw some Barrel Breaks for $30.00 each, and they had mavericks and Nite finders for I think about $13 bucks give or take.

This is what you want. The previous posts ARE about blasters available in Australia. So start posting in that topic and stop complaining.
