That's the American target site. Those prices should have told you that. Also there's like 6 things on there that aren't available in Australia.

Three days ago I had a look in K-mart Footscray (the closest one to me) and they had the following:
    - 2 Longshots
    - 1 or 2 clear Raiders
    - 10 or more Magstrikes
    - 1 or 2 bandolier kits
    - several NFs and Mavericks
    - several BuzzBee guns (Double Shots, Belt Blasters, Tommy 20s, etc)
    - a few Nerf dart packs (no ammo boxes unfortunately, they were sold out)

As of yesterday, Target in Highpoint had these:
    - 15 or more Vulcans (the ones with bonus darts and belt)
    - 15 or more Rapid Fire AS-20s
    - several Mavericks (including a few clear ones)
    - the usual Buzz Bee guns

As of yesterday, Big W in Highpoint had these:
    - 3 Recons
    - several NFs and Mavericks
    - several Belt Blasters and Tommy 20s

I didn't check out TRU though.

TRU catalogue is up on TRU site, aforementioned Stampede deal can be seen here: http://catalogues.toysrus.com.au/portal/offerdetails/nerf-n-strike-stampede-ecs-50/12862522931448?Ntt=nerf&Ntk=Primary&source=search

You beat me to it. I saw the catalogue when I got home from work.
It also shows a six-pack "Attack Unit" of those little single-shot blasters for $40. Good for office cubicle warfare, but not for a full-blown Nerf war.

Have you guys noted the Stampede advertised in TRU only comes with three 18-dart clips (or magazines) and 54 darts. I am wondering if those in Kmart ($78) comes with more standard three 18-dart clips + one 6-dart clip + 60 darts, then it's probably worth paying extra $8 for Kmart's Stampede.

The K-mart Stampedes come with 3 18 + 1 6 clip and darts to fill. Yas, iti most likely better deal from k-mart.Altho i did get one from TRU aswell and it was the full set too,3+1 clips.

Target currently advertises Maverick for $16, and it does not only apply to regular Maverick but also to Clear Maverick. I saw about 4 in Target at Bankstown NSW, so bought one to add to my regular yellow one.

Also Kmart at Bankstown has top shelf full of Stampede, about 12 of them, for $78. Yes they come with three 18-dart clips + one 6-dart clip + 60 darts, which I think is better value than TRU's $70 Stampede. Thought about it but did not buy one as I don't really like Stampede's battery operated mechanism and average performance. Instead I spotted one Longshot left for $59 so I bought that. They also have a Clear Raider for $59 if anyone wants one.

Got my Stampede from TRU Cannington tonight. I can confirm that the box does include 3x 18 dart clips, 1x 6 dart clips & 60 darts.

As you can see on the front of the box they label it: 3 Extended Clips & 1 Quick-Reload Clip.

Charging up my RC car battery packs now.

    Sooo, Cannington TRU

I saw a few unity systems, mavericks, dart tag sets, hornets.

I also spied . . . at least 10 longshots and 8 or so attack units!

All out of Stampedes, stock on Wednesday.

Kmart - Same as yesterday minus 3 clear raiders

Myer - A lot of super soaker stuff, some ammo.

Target - Recon, Clear mavericks, buzzbee stuff and more dart tag kits.

CANBERRANS! Listen up, I went looking for a Stampede the other day, and teh ONLY place in canberra that had it was Toyworld Fyshwick. In the search however I built a list of various stores that sell Nerf. Toyworld was the only one I noticed actually having a sale. I have "heard" students get a 10% discount there but that is currently UNVERIFIED by me.

Toyworld Fyshwick: currently has a sale on:
    Vulcan $79.95
Stampede $79.95 (they have over 100 in warehouse, only place in Canberra with Stampedes)
    Recon $39.95
    Nitefinder $12
Also has Raider, Longshot, Mav for the regular prices, as well as Big Salvos for $39.95

    Target Canberra Centre:
Maverick, Vulcan, Nitefinder, Magstrike, Dart-tag set, Rapidfire

    Big W Canberra Centre:
    Recon and Maverick

    Toys r Us Belconnen:
    Recon, Raider, Longshot, Vulcan

    Toys r Us Brand Depot:
Recon, Raider, Longshot, Maverick, Rapidfire, Vulcan

I'm getting sick of all the "oh hai guys I found a maverick at target" posts clogging up the thread. If you have a new sighting then great, but no-one cares about someone finding a nite finder in kmart.

I have to agree with you on that one

People should not just tell us they see current range of Nerf blasters (even Stampede) on their local stores, unless they are on cheap special discount, or they just saw Alpha Trooper or Spectre just appearing on the shelves.

But where's my Alpha Troopa!!!! In Target!?

K-mart has gotten a few price reductions on a few items.

    - Super Soaker Shot Blast - $35 to $30
    - Recon - $45 to $29 (gooni mentioned it before)
    - Ammo boxes - $35 to $29.

They should be permanent prices too since it didnt' say anything. Stampedes sold like hot cakes at my K-mart I saw it. Bought it. come back 3 days later... ALL gone -_-.
