Rumor has it that they have been discontinued for a long time. Just they are selling the last of what is left (which is a lot of things). We originally thought that they would discontinue it as soon as the longstrike came out, but they must have done a rerun as the new boxes now don't say "nerf's longest blaster" (I believe?). But otherwise a lot of people believe that the longshot is reaching its end. That aside so many of the damn things were made that you may still find them for another year (or even two?) to go.

What I can't believe is that the things were no where to be seen up until 2008ish.

Forgive me if it's been posted...

Myer (Adelaide Rundle Mall) are selling the entire clear range of Airzone blasters, including:

    - Shell Shock X-6 pistols for $16.95
    - Triple Shots for $24.95
    - Triple Shot bundled with some 3-barrel-indexing-ball-shooter-thingo-I-can't-remember-the-exact-name-of with ammo and shell refills for $29.95

edit: oh and there's Longshots for something under $45, didn't get a good look as it was on my way out and not on my shopping list

Clear TSs in Myer (Perth) were $20.

Standard price of $24.95 applied, but they had a $5 discount on for some reason. Get in quick, these things are beauties.

A big thank you to my wife who drove around all day to nab me what seemed to be the last 2 longshots in Adelaide, well for the western districts anyway!

I've noticed that there weren't any Longshots left in many K-marts. Could it be that the drought for these blasters have finally come! I still have 3 NIB so I'm happy.

    Ouch, expensive much!

I was at BigW the other day and they still had a heap for $45.

I have 3 NIB as well so I'm pretty set. If they have finally stopped production, it will still be a very long time before they become rare I think.

same, my local k-mart has them for $45. I can't really see why Nerf would stop producing them when they sell so many...

Does anyone have a pic of these "clear" Triple shots. If they're actually clear, I would very much like one of them. Pay Pal can be arranged.

So far Australia only has the clear frosted TS, but not the newer "traditional clear" style.

I hope we get them soon though, but I'd rather the blue/black versions.

K-mart Brandon Park has Vortex disks. 10 for $6. First time I've seen them in Australia.

Big W at Waverley Gardens has:

    • the same 10-pack for $5.47.
    • white-out Nitefinders, on a stand with no price
    • white-out Mavericks, on a stand with no price
    • at least one white-out Recon, on a shelf with no price

"Yes, can you tell me why your stock doesn't have prices displayed?"

That's why I always use the "price check points" in Big W, traditionally Nerf were always cheaper there than the local Kmart (except for sales/clearances) at least that was the case near my previous home...

I really like those clearance trolleys at BigW, that's how I landed the Nerf Wookie bowcaster for under $10...

definately getting scouts tomorrow exciting lol

edit: got a 2 pack and modded 1 straight away ( annoyingly 3 different types of screw note where they go if you open it up, ar removed and added slight spring compression) awesome pistol even shoots buzzbee ammo, slight better range than modded maverick and modded nitefinder. But out of the box outperforms both of these if all are unmodded.
