I have been looking into getting a new spring installed in my Alpha Trooper. Currently, I have found someone who does Recon, Raider, and Longshot springs. They believe that all the springs are of similar dimensions to the Alpha Trooper's spring. Which do you believe is the better fit for my AT? Let me know, experience with the Alpha Trooper would help me dearly
    Thanks,

Ok well this is all you need:

Yes it will work with the alpha trooper. But you will need to upgrade the trigger spring as well!

Black Tactical in Singapore also sell stronger spring for Alpha Trooper, I bought one from them. It is only slightly stronger and shoots an extra 5-10 feet compared to stock spring. I don't need a stronger trigger catch spring to hold it, but needed to filed down some ridges inside the rear casing to fit the spring.

Also. The guy who claims that dry firing the gun won't ruin the plunger is full of shit. LOL. I have seen someone use it in their Longstrike and were getting some decent ranges for an R plunger gun. However, for $USD17.99 a spring + shipping. It's much too overpriced. Black Tactical it's half the price and you'll get roughly the same results.

    Thanks for the help guys
Did anybody get insane shipping costs with the spring? Apparently the shipping is more than the spring itself ay Balck Tactical!

Well... yeah, shipping cost is not cheap, from $10 upward. The spring itself is $13. However I bought 3 different springs and a few O-rings from them which added up to about $38, and the shipping cost was $16, total cost about $53-54 Singaporean dollars. Coverted to about $43 Australian dollars.

The reason of the high shipping cost is Black Tactical sent with express post, only took about 3 days to get to me. Impressive. Unlike DealExtreme with its free shipping, took about one month to post to me. I guess you get what you paid for.

That's why ou buy more than one spring. Lol. It gets cheaper as you buy more per unit that is. Overall cost is more expensive. If you know what i Mean.
