I bought a double pack a while back, not sure of current prices but it's a good addition to anyones arsenal.

Out of the box, it has an effective range(Range without arcing) of 5 metres (Despite seemingly low range, remember that the darts are heavier and hurt much more) and total range of 10+ metres. Not recommended at all to fire Nerf darts as they WILL tear in time, especially of the gun has been modded.

This gun makes a very very good sidearm, it will outdo a Nitefinder hands down though it is slightly larger and in some cases, the stock darts may slide out. Modifications are easy, I've removed the braking spring inside the plunger and punched out the AR which gives me 6+ metres effectiveness with stock darts and 15+ metres with Streamlines(If they don't tear before leaving the barrel). The range can further be amplified with a spring compression and brass/aluminium barreling but otherwise it already does it's job very well.

    Usage and storage tips:
    - Even stock, it makes a great gun and if modified, it can stand alone
    - Note that after modding, Buzzbee darts are useless, I'm not sure why

    - (No-brainer) Leave the gun unprimed when storing.

This is the most powerful gun I've ever encountered, I've heard stories of it getting 20 metres plus, so if you've got th modding resources, go for it.

You actually shouldn't leave darts loaded because it actually eventualy ruins the diameter of the dart which loses it's range. The tighter the dart the better.

Yeah, you should actually experiment on it. Get a fresh suction dart and leave it in the maverick for a day. When you remove the dart you will see that the bottom part of the dart has shrunk.
