    Nerf guns for Christmas!

    Post  Raider733 on Fri Dec 17, 2010 4:25 pm

Hi, what new guns are you all getting for christmas?
I've got a stampede, maverick (my old one has reloading issues) and barrel break waiting to be shot at people I will eventually feel sorry for. Along with that I have the flip clip refill, as I found myself in need of darts, and may use the flip clip joining thing with the 18 dart extended clips, very inconvenient though

This is kind of a free topic, so feel free to wander off and debate about things, guns, what would be a good thing to get, etc.

Nice, a recon is what got me into nerf in the first place!

Well, This Christmas is a nerf Christmas in the Gooni house. between my brothers and sisters we only ever spend a small amount of cash on each other as agreed long ago, but pooling the small amount is common. A few years ago my big bro and lil bro and sis got me a vulcan, that's what led me to modding.

    Anyways, To the topic.

This year I have got all my family and their kids a reflex and a hand full of darts, and have got my own kids some new blasters so they can war with their own and leave mine for me, selfish I know :P. The boy is getting that BB 3 blaster set with the BBUMB and other two dodgy blasters, a reflex and if I can get my hands on one a Spectre. My daughter will be getting a MagStrike, reflex and Spectre.

And I hope to be getting an AT2K if my siblings took my hints that consisted of emailing E-bay links of AT2K sales. I will be getting myself a few magstrikes (if I can get them at the sale price) for extra clips and modding parts, and I want a spectre for myself too.

Hopefully I will find out on Sunday if I do get the AT2K as that is the family Christmas gathering day, upon witch there will be a family nerfwar with all the new blasters that will be opened on the day, plus with backup from my arsenal.

I hope you all get what you want and have fun modding them once you do.

    That is all.

    Gooni.

And don't forget 3 AA batteries for Barricade, unless you decide to go for alternate power supply...

Well fine then, $47 for you, $48 for me. Gooni, there's still one double pack left, start sending e-mails :P. Anyway, slightly back on topic, I get one AT2K when they arrive, one on Christmas. Then I get Christmas money, spend that on more Nerf guns during the January sales, I'm going to love this Christmas :D.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'yeh baby, Gooni now has AT2K.

Every one liked their reflex's. And because of the venue change because of the weather, the gooni family war was just a foam free for all in poppys backyard when the sun come out for a bit.

Well Christmas might be over, but today was the first day that shops were officially open in South Austrlia. So was time to go spend that Christmas money.

I found today at the local Toyworld store in Victor Harbour, the much loved Buzz Bee Big Blast. There were only 4 left in stock, going for $19.99 each, a bargain in my language and so now they all mine.

So if your away from the city, in some town somewhere. Be sure to check out the local Toyworld store, for you too might be able too buy a Buzz Bee Big Blast, for the low, low price of just $19.99 (best $20 you could spend).

Curse my epic fail eyesight. MMMMM, I will be going up the river in a few days , one must go looking in the back waters towns for their Toy selling outlets.

I got what I wanted, and the stock mavericks they have these days... Wow, that thing hurts with streamlines. The stampede is AWESOME, my friend got the vulcan ans it does have better range and firing rate, but the stampede is lighter, smaller and more portable while the vulcan is moreof a stationary gun. The barrel break may be a little overrated, as it range generally sucks, it tends to jam quite a bit, and the reloading may be cool but takes so much time you just hope you're not facing an automatic gun.
Hope you all liked your guns!
