Problem cocking lower barrel of Longshot Empty Problem cocking lower barrel of Longshot

Post  oneshot Fri Dec 03, 2010 4:19 am

Has anyone else had a problem cocking the lower barrel of the Longshot?

On ours, cocking it doesn't do anything. There's no click. It's like the spring doesn't stay compressed, so nothing happens when you pull the trigger.

Also, does anyone else think the extension barrel could have been designed better so that it could be used as a gun by itself instead of the cocking mechanism causing the trigger to come loose when you try to do that?

Are you talking about the front gun?

I have a problem with the extention blaster also. I removed the Ar and it doesn't fire, it only makes a loud boom. What happened???

Yeah after taking out the AR of my front gun. It took awhile to get all the rods and springs in the right place. In your case there might be a rod or spring out of place.

(Tries quoting but it really messed up)

This happened to me, it could be a problem with your catch or trigger, a bit like slam fire on the raider.

Just to get it staight, when you pull the slide back, it clicks in, the when you let it slide forward, it reached the front and shoots?

You can remove the ar from it with a half decent length drill. That's how i avoid the headache of pulling the front gun apart.

I have the same problem with mine, I'm just going to hook up a keyring system for it and use the handle for another project.
