Project Completion Stages Empty Project Completion Stages

    Post  inf0rm3r Tue Dec 28, 2010 5:18 am

I constantly get questions asking whether the silicone tips and website is completed every day by MSN/Email/PM so I'll be posting up a guide to keep you updated. The website has had it's set backs this is due mainly to Christmas and because I'm a complete perfectionist and expect nothing short.

I believe what's needed is a very organised system capable of handling the multitudes of people interested. If you want a site which can handle a community base of 10,000+ it has to be prepared for even when the community base is only at a few hundred. Everyone wants nice features but they take time and money to integrate so step back with the PM's etc and keep an eye on this thread or even jump in and help.

Could you add a PETG progress section and could you explain the "world domination feature"?
    Great job by the way!

Good luck with all that. It seems like quite a lot to be working on all at once, though. By the way, what's up with the 'World Domination Feature' bit?

I think he was joking, or that he's showing it to America and/or Canada. Though I think its more a joke.

Yes, it's an actual feature of the website. It won't be seen until about 3-5 months from now as it's more work than the actual software, as code is being made from scratch.

Everyone. I need content! Please submit content to benkoehler123@gmail.com

All Tutorials (Require minimum 3-5 pictures be concise and grammatically correct) I've only been able to generate about 20-25 tutorials myself and this simply isn't enough for a launch.
    Videos (Compressed or non compressed)
    Pictures (Internals, wars, community etc)
Internals (Image Dimensions must be higher than 1024x768)

You will be credited for your work on the image and on pages it is featured.

NEW UPDATE TODAY: Australia Post system implemented into shop, up to testing stage and tweaking.
NEW UPDATE TODAY: First Logo sent back to designer for feedback.

I'll do a write up for my soon to be non-secret raider reinforcement.
I also have a reflex mod I invented and nitefinder cut down and ammo relocation.
So I'll put it into a word document?

Word docs preferably 2003 format so I can open it in open office.

Pictures send them in separate files outside of the document.

NEW UPDATE: Chat system scrapped for a new system which works in a similar fashion to facebook chat, bridged to forum database. I found this system to be more effective as you can travel to any page throughout the site without changing windows or losing a window.

Remember for the internals pic to get more than just one angle. It helps with putting it back together if you know what stuff looks like in a 3D field.

I was thinking how about a PETG cutting tutorial because it's hard as <Censored> to cut straight and not have all this crap on the end.

Also with war pictures how will this work will it be in a giant gallery possibly seperated by States or reigons? Or would it be like before when you first posted the site and you had storys/report about the Brisbane area wars (I think there was 2 or 3 originaly.)

Yeah it is hard. I think what you do to cut them straight is to get some stanley knives and heat them up with a lighter. Then saw it down like a hack saw. You should get a clean cut.

This project is not associated with OzNerf, you will have to register a new account over onto the new forum if you wish to join.

OzNerf will still be run and operated as per normal.

I will also be taking better steps to and a new activation system.

I'm thinking of going as far as you don't get activated until you turn up to a war. UNLESS of course you do not live where wars are held regularly then there will be an e-mail system why you would join, answer a few questions, and details.

This I think will weed out lurkers, and useless bandwidth users.
