Ferny Grove Nerf War - 9th of January, 2011 Video Footage (filmed by littlebro05)

I finally decided to do a quick edit of the Ferny Grove video we had...

Back Story: We went and did all of our trading in the rain. When the rain stopped a little, we decided to do a little war and this is the footage I got. It wasn't much, and the shots weren't great, but I'd like to report what was going down during the time. We got about 1-2hours of game time in before we all gave up because of the rain. Mind you, the rain was basically the pre-flooding in areas of Brisbane. Hope you enjoy!

We had a great time and the young bloke we brought with us went straight home and requested his Dad "fix" his blasters so they fire properly.

By the way Littlebro I "fixed" the longshot worked great untill I fixed it some more.

Groan.....I got it working, but I've broken the plunger end cap and the bolt sled don't look so good either.

But to be fair I used it as a guinea pig. The good news is Big W is now stocking them, $45 so I got another.

Also got a new v2 spring........now I wonder what will happen if I add a NF spring too?

If you put an NF spring underneath you'll be looking at another 'guinea pig'. Trust me on that one.

I like your stampede btw... that little 'helper' spring you have, is that just the stock with BT spring?

Yes it's 3/4 of a NF spring and yeah I know it's gonna break, but it's still my guinea pig. While it lives I'm working out a pump action loading system. It has a great range at the moment, average 20m. That might not be great by the standards of others, but I'm still learning, besides if it dose'nt break I've no excuse for alu parts.

The Stampede is great, average about 18m-20m. I'm not sure what the helper spring I settled on is but it's not too heavy, I,ve decided not to break this one.

That's alright gooni. I do not mind since I respect you because you don't make silly 'posts' like this kid. Mark you have no excuse either. We have this kid who is the same age as you mark and has contributed more than I would ever had.

@Lefty - You don't need to cut down the NF spring... you're meant to stretch it up to 1.5x original length. The spring will shrink back to the LS plunger size.

@DK - Lefty had the LongStrike. On certain circumstances we wouldn't let him use it since it's dark, however we let him use it this time. However, hey may have to get some fluro tape of some sort to cover it since we don't want any misinterpretation.

God help us all when the new DT guns come out.
