when filming 1st person camera mount > weapon mount personally - often your weapon can be pointed away from the action, such as when sprinting, however if it is head/helmet mounted then you'll always capture the action

Yep, was using a Go-pro HD. My company has picked up a couple more so I will have to get my hands on them. I created a custom rail mount (by butchering a recon site) to attach it to most nerf guns. Either way it is the best small sized camera in terms of both visual and audio quality and general performance.
I also agree, 1st person view looks a lot cooler and better. Granted a gun cam will catch things like 'blind fire' and the such.
The later shots were all taken by standard 720p camcorders. I think a canon hf200 and some sony camera that isn't as good.
Videos aside I do like using the house over a park as it provides a great cover area, while allowing for some real flanking and tactics. Unfortunately the offset of this is bottlenecking and stalemates. Fortunately with good team balance and cars in the back yard for further cover we have a good setup going. Most of the people at these two wars are friends of mine and are not on the forums. I find once I get over 20 people it gets a bit crowded so i like to keep numbers just right. For that reason most people are on stock weapons, but with this much cover the modded weapons don't help you as much as they might in an open field. Phoungs modded stampede though is something to fear O.o
