    Same thought I had Psykka.

By modified, do you mean no FBR stefans, bluefoam darts, or even hotglue streamlines ?

As you are a new member, I can understand your "no modified policy" but most nerfers that attend wars somewhat regularly would use FBR stefans or some kind of modified streamline/whistler darts. Using craft beads or 00 split shot sinkers and hitglue.

When participating in any war, safety glasses/goggles are a must, making the use of "modified" would not be an issue IMO.

Just something to think about I spoze.

Good work for putting in the effort of getting a war together. As the more people we can get into nerf, the sooner we can rule the world MWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAAHAH.

    Gooni.

This is going to be difficult, Anything thats got BBs, washers, or anything to hurtful - we're Nerfing, not Paint-balling.

Also, can I get an idea of anyone who would/could come?
I should of been more specific when writing this stuff down. :/

Err have you ever been hit by an N-Force sword from Nerf. They are some serious shit. If some idiot goes and swings it too hard, shit is going to happen buddy.

I do agree on the "we're Nerfing, not paintballing", but the way you already put it is going to DETER a lot of people in this forum. I just hope you have ALOT of cover, because a war with 40ft shooting blasters with open field = going to be a fail war. Trust me on that one. It'll then be down to ROF and ammo capacity = wins.

It's in bushland, there's also trenches as what not.

    Any other advice?
This is my first war, so i really have no idea what to do... :\

I would come... if modified darts were allowed... I also have two other mates who might be able to go.
Other than that you seem to have your shit pretty well together.
Only other thing I can think of is having a few rounds of humans vs zombies.
But kudos to organizing an Illawarra-region war!

What sort of darts are you using? I mean, since it's a small war, you might be able to slip them in without me noticing.

Inf0m3r blue foam with 00 split-shot fishing weights, similar to some here. I will admit, they do hurt a little, but nothing compared to when I was paint-balling.

So long as your not using the tacs or the steelshots, you can slip though.

Well the fishing weights are made of lead but covered over with hot glue. You can't even tell they're there because the glue goes slightly cloudy when it dries.
But back on topic, I probably won't be able to get there until 1.30 or 2.00 as I work till 12 on a saturday and it's probably an hour and a half drive to Wollondilly from my place.

I hope you don't mean tic tacs. I also might make it, along with some friends.

Yeah, so long as they're fairly hardy...
We're worried about what might be on the ground...

Another tip for a Nerf War is not to host it in 'thick' shrub because sure there's ALOT of cover, but you still need to accomodate for the fact of losing copious amount of darts.

We could always build barricades out of fallen trees and what not. - Something I actually have experience in

What I do for the 'cover' problem is purchase tarps from $2 store and buy 25mm UPVC Pipe to set up as stakes. Each wall will cost no more than $10 each.

Believe me you'll want to bring a lot more darts than that. Typically you can lose 20-30 darts in day of Nerf war. If you want to spend the time searching for everyone of your darts, you'll be there for another 2 hours and you won't enjoy your day.

It's not the issue of 'searching for them' its the issue of you WILL need more than 14 darts in each round. You'll find yourself all out before the game even starts.
