Post  Nerfighter Tue Apr 12, 2011 3:47 pm

Hey im new to this so please dont criticize me on any maistakes i might make.

    Anyway on with the review.
I found this blaster in a group of six in toys'r'us for $40. So i ended up buying it.

Out of the box it was a not so comfortable blaster because it has quite small grips. I got out the whistler darts that came with it and shot down my hallway it hit about 25-30 feet on an angle. It was a good range for such a small gun

    Cons

I must say that this blaster has very few cons, despite it's size and cheap price. The main con is comfort as the handle digs into my hand after a while. It starts off as not a real problem, but eventually turns into quite a painful experience

    Pros

This blaster is great for close quarter combat and it is very easy to carry around.
It hits great ranges for this small gun and for a really cheap price!

Nice review. It wouldn't hurt to put on a picture of the blaster if you've got one.

The FAQ section has instructions on how to post pictures.

    Cheers,

I haven't properly measured it, but I think I've been able to get one to hit 35-40 feet flat.

Just be careful though, The nub inside of the blue/yellow shell gets crushed if you do any spring replacement or spring spacer mods.

It be pretty cool if you put Melbourne as your location detail on your info list. Melbourne's community is starting to increase in size of Nerfers! I'm starting to get jealous because all these guys are coming out of no where :(. Just a way to keep track of everyone if you know what I mean.

I bought one of these off Chad for $10, are they vacuum loading stock or did he improve the seal? It has its AR removed and it's about 25-30ft flat

I love Reflexes. My first (yellow) got around 30ft flat before I took out the AR. My second (blue) Got 35-40ft flat before mods. I opened it up, and the o-ring had an incredibly good seal. When dry firing, it takes around half a second for the plunger to return to its original place. And no, I did not put that o-ring in there.

    Nice Review

    Now here's my input

The reflex in my opinion is a great nerf gun. It has pretty good range straight out of the box and is good for CQ Combat being a small nerf gun. It is also quite cheap.

The small handle however is a down side as it isn't the nicest gun to hold.

Nothing is vacuum loading stock. So he must've improved it. Mine's kinda vacuum loading, though until I put a brass barrel the vacuum load can fail at times
