It's not exactly an MMORPG, it's only playable with upto 8 players. Also there aren't many similarities to Minecraft, but it is a good way to explain it. I'm reeeally eager to actually get to play Terraria. I've watched most of the Lets Play videos but I stopped after about 20 so I wouldn't ruin the fun of exploring and finding stuff

I can't believe how big this has been getting in the last few weeks. I heard about it a few weeks back and barely anyone knew about it, now it's becoming super popular. Terraria is gonna be a massive hit, just like Minecraft is/was, and with the insane developement speed (it's only been in developement since January) it looks like it'll be full of content to discover.

According to some interviews and other sources, the game looks like it'll be getting released in anywhere from 1 week to 1 month. Personally I can't wait for it to come out.

I've been playing that with my brother for the last few days, while we wait for the release

I know this is an old thread, so might get in trouble for posting here, but I HAVE to know if anyone has/does play Terraria.

Got it the other day and love it. Would be good to get a world going with some of you guys/girls.

I have Terraria, The only problem is I can't run a server because my computer is too old.

I have a computer that's always on at home...

I use it as a server for media (music and movies and torrents and stuff) I could give it a crack on there.

My girlfriend and myself sank about 24 hours into terraria over the weekend. We both almost have final teir gear now and we have set up some nice stuff like some tree and glowing mushroom farms.
I've still got to build an obsidian generator seeing as we are mining hellstone now.

I'm still playing Terraria on and off. Gonna be playing it some more tonight to check out the new content from the last 2 patches

I've only got a dodge version at the moment. just to check ikt out. Will be getting the real (paid for) version soon
