    Hello fellow Nerfers and Nerfettes!.

I have been looking arond here for a little bit now and decided that it is time to join.
So a little about me, I am a W.A. based person (I think Im a person i have been called otherwise) and I own a Stampede (I have heard alot of complaints about the weight of the batteries however I Find it very comfy even for long periods)and a Mav.
My near future purposes are Longstrike,Longshot and a second Mav.

I do have one question that i can't seem to find an answer too.I Have noticed that alot of people use hot gule for the mods(Now to My actual question). Apart from costs why dont people use Fibreglass when modding for strength and adding parts. Is it cost or some other reason i have missed.

    Cheers

    G'day mate and welcome aboard.
My guess as far as 'glassing NERF blasters would be apart from the coast as mentioned would be that 1: Alot of people mod indoors and 2: Alot of people don't have experience with 'glassing.

I have used a fair bit of fibre glass before but I've found it gets messy when used in nerf blasters and hot glue is so much cheaper and easier.

When used in cosmetic mods (Mods to the shell) it does look quite nice and as you said, is very strong.
