    what do you think?

    Post  SNIPER-X on Mon Jun 20, 2011 3:49 pm

Ok i stumbled onto this on ebay, take a look for yourself...

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PAINTED-MODIFIED-NERF-LONGSHOT-CS-6-CUSTOM-PAINTJOB-/260804317639?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item3cb92611c7#ht_1867wt_1139

now is it just me or does the claimed range sound like alot to expect from such a mildly modded blaster?

    opinions?
    constructive criticism?

Clunks Commisioned longshots are WAY better, have a brass breech, an actual spring and much more and also much more trustworthy and 140' ranges (roughly)
look at his commision thread for the exact same price for stage 1.

Not to mentioned "UP TO" key phrase. 100ft. Means that it only shoot 50-60ft flat. That front gun extension does NOT make it anymore accurate than it is... just slows the darts down, especially when you're going for a run about.

Well it's all bullshit to me, just by looking at those mods. "Spring extension"?! You gotta be effing kidding me. And removing the jam door shouldn't count as a mod. In fact arguably you're decreasing the value by removing an original part of the gun.

Though sadly someone will probably buy this.

Yeh, got too love the second bullet 'Spring Extension' yes folks he pulled the spring out stretched it put it back in and hey presto its extended. BUT as we all know (or should know) a stretched spring only returns to its original size. So its a worthless mod.

100ft. With the wind and aimed up around 30 degrees, off the roof of his house. Is anyone else tempted to send this n00b a message or is that my grumpy old man side starting to come through

Yeah Clunk for sure you should, i would.
I've even seen a modded LS going to $150. And ranges were only 110ft flat. Still good ranges, but for that price, and that excludes postage.
