I've commissioned one for inf0rm3r. Although, I'm not planning to commission one as it is a REAL DIFFICULT modification. If I'd commission one, it would be close to $150-$200.

Sry you'll have to forgive me, i'm working of a phone here and can't for the life of me get an image to load. You'll have to google image "dovetail rail" to see.

If you are after good range than the only clip fed blaster you should be looking at is a Longshot. If you go for the max range and reliability it won't be cheap though.
Another good one for range is a BBUMB (Ultimate Missle Blast) - not clip fed but nice and cheap to buy and mod ($20 or less for the blaster + 1ft of brass or PETG for a barrel) and you've got 100ft + at your disposal. If you plug the pump then you start to get really crazy ranges. I shot a heavy sil tip through both sides of a big cardboard box AND dented the wall behind it with mine the other day :O

Nice. I think I might get a longshot and keep clunk in a job. I would preffer to have someone that knows what they are doing do it up. I dont trust my self modding.

Yep, you can't go past a LongShot, that's for sure!! haha
Some phenomenal ranges can be achieved out of the bbumb, if you're prepared to do a bit of light modding.

LShot's aren't overly difficult to mod mate, but probably not an ideal blaster to start with. If you're keen, let me know. I can probably squeeze one last LS commission in for October/November. Give you a bit of time to put some coin aside.
Cheers,

It would be somewhere between $100 and $150, depending on what level mods you want done, if you supply the blaster. To be honest, if you don't have one already, you'd be better off with me supplying it myself. I have two remaining in stock available for commissions.
If you supply it, I only subtract the cost of the blaster plus postage off of the commission price ($50). It would probably cost you a bit more than that, to post one up to me. ($45 for blaster, approx $15-20 for p&h).
I normally don't include the front gun and scope in my commission's, but if you like, I can include them unmodified for no extra cost. That way, you're not missing out on any of the extra's.
Cheers,

RFSG has 12 barrels
Octoshot has 8 barrels
So I would go for an ERTL RFSG, I know Silent Scope Has two left for sale for $105.00 each.
Has a link to his sale page.

Both mods are fairly difficult. The RFSG may be a tiny bit easier though.

Re: The Questions Thread.
Hmmm...
Will a Longshot fitted with the stock spring, an additional spring about 50-75% stronger than the original and an NF spring have its boltsled snap quickly? The long term doesn't matter, as I'll be acquiring a metal boltsled soon when OMW release their Longshot Stage 2 Kits, but I may be using a gun fitted with that spring combination tomorrow in an HvZ game (I most likely won't fire it after that until I get the OMW kit).
So basically, what I need to know is whether or not it will snap mid-game and leave me stranded. I expect to fire between one hundred and two hundred shots over the course of the day.

Re: The Questions Thread.
I wouldn't know, but it also depends on how violent you are with your reloading.
Also, if it's HvZ, are you using streamlines? If so there's no point in having such a powerful spring combo because it's just gonna veer crazy in it's trajectory.

do you have a pump grip? if so, it shouldn't, but it will snap before the stage 2 kit for longshot is released.

Re: The Questions Thread.
If I read that right you have 3 springs in it?
Stock LS, Stock NF and an other one which is about half agian as stong as a LS stock spring?
I would say just for th day you might be ok but you could be risking a snap. I used one with just the stock LS and a stock NF spring for quite a while with no stress points forming.
I'd say just for one war you should be good. But be aware you're running a risk.

Re: The Questions Thread.
Thanks.
Well, I have a second LS that is only running the 50% stronger spring (I removed the stock one), so if my triple-springed one breaks, I won't be completely screwed.
Also, I tend not to try and speed-reload it; my upper body strength is about nil, so I can't slam the bolt backwards like some people can.
Yes, we are using Streamlines, but the combo is more for sheer velocity at close-mid range (by which I mean, under fifty feet), ensuring that the zombies have little chance of dodging.

I couldn't help my self, I bought one today. I might send it up to you in a fortnight when I get paid.
I'll get the whole combo for it. (can't have half a Mack Daddy).
When I got the money ready I'll get your address and bank details off you so I can send the blaster and some dosh.
cheers

After doing both I can say that the Octo is MUCH easier. Not much harder than a normal quadshot.

No worries mate,
Just send me an email to: clunkweaponsco@hotmail.com and we can proceed from there.
I probably won't get much of a chance to even start on it until the end of September, so if it takes you a bit to save up the coin, then it won't be an issue.

I'd say approx $22 for the charger and batt's. As for the Stampede - depends on what you've done to it, condition, clips etc etc.
If you've got a BT/Serv spring in it, AR removed, 3 x 18-rd clips, shield, bipod etc etc, with no darts, in perfect condition. I'd suggest around $100.
Add them together, and you'd probably be looking at $120.

You won't find this in Bunnings; the general barrel material of choice is 16mm UPVC sourced from electrical distributors. Bring a streamline to test the fitting.
