I got a BBUMB today but when I pump it, nothing is happening. I even blew into the pump tube and nothing happened, it didn't go into the tank.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Same thing happened to me. Simple fix, just replace the pump O-ring.

Is there a mod tutorial for the Deploy CS-6?

Like real easy! can you just drill a hole into the air restrictors without disassembling the case.

In other words non risky mods!

Try uin13 youtube vid for this one. but as I mentioned earlier the deploy is probably not the best blaster for you to start modding. Try a nightfinder or longshot first. You'll get better results and a much better war blaster. Good to see you having a go.

get pliers and twist it out, then either twist it back in or replace it

If it is severely stripped you can take a drill to it, removing just the head of the screw.

Some times the head of the screw will strip this will happen especially if your screw driver is not the right size. You can drill the AR out from the front of the barrel but I recommend you find a video demonstrating it first.

In certain situations I found it safer to use a hacksaw blade, if you can fit it between the body shells and carefully cut the screw in half.

You will need to then find a way to remove the worn head part but with the body apart it does make it easier.
Then you will also need to replace the screw (obviously).

Just drill out the head of the screw, it's a fairly simple task. If you've got access to them, you could use a left-hand drill bit - but I doubt too many people would have a set...

Also, could you please use the edit button, rather than double-posting.

    Cheers,

Long, lol. I'm not sure - it wraps around me pretty loosely and comfortably, it's pretty nice in terms of having Nerf gear, but only good for having a sling on a blaster, not really for holding clips.

Hi guys, I wS wondering if anyone knows how many pumps of a dual action repco pump (the $8 ones) it would take to fill a bbumb tank? And if it's too many how difficult would be to attach 2 pumps to the same tank? Thanks

Since swapping the pumps means you remove the over pressure valve, it's hard to know how many pumps of the Repco one is equivalent too reaching max pressure with the stock pump. I would take a guess at 2-3 pumps. You could pump it 5-6 times though and get more like 60psi in there which would be similar to 12-13 pumps with a plugged stock pump.

This is all based on NOT increasing the tank volume as well. Obviously, if you do that you will need more pumps.

With my Bum-Trooper, it takes around 13 pumps with a dual-action Repco to fill the tank. That's with a tank expansion though, so possibly around 7 or 8 pumps for a normal tank.

For a Titan, you're better off getting a bigger pump than the Repco dual-action. It's just to small to handle the task. I used a no-name brand pump from a cheap shop for my Titan. Takes around 5 - 7 pumps to fill the tank. Big W sells Summit brand ball pumps. They're about 27cm long, and are only single action. I'm going to be testing one of these on a Titan soon, but I'm positive they'll be a lot better than the Repco. Only problem will be finding somewhere to mount such a big unit (The pump handle travel is around 25cm).

    Cheers,

For my air blasters, I have started using a Summit brand dual action pump. Its pretty big, I thonk its just below 30cm and pumps a lot of air. I found them at Big W for $12, but also the same pump at K-Mart for $10.

The pump itself is yellow. It also has an extendable nozzle thing (which I didn't like, so I glued it down). Also, the underside of the nozzle on my pump started to leak air, but some hot glue fixed that.

Thanks guys. I just bought 2 so I might try hooking both of them up together to see if I can fill a bbumb tank on 2-3 pumps...if I can't I'm just going to relocate the original pump underneath the blaster because it only takes 5 pumps when plugged. Would be a heck of a lot cheaper too....

Sounds very similar to the one's I've just bought. I think I do remember seeing a dual-action one, but decided to try a couple of the single-action pumps first. I only paid $3 each for them, so not much of a risk.

Hmm... From experience with a SSSpring, I get ranges of about 105ft Flat- slightly angled like 5 degrees.

But that's ONLY with an SSSpring. No stock spring.

I'd guess that's with a brass breech, and most probably not using streamlines.
