new nerfer from melbourne

welll, yeah im From The South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I got my first nerf gun about halfway through last year ( a Recon cs-6 if you really wanna know) and a magstrike AS-10 for christmas last year. About three weeks ago i bought a nite finder which i love and is what really got me into nerf and about 2 days ago i got the longshot for $35 (guess where from ) Ive got a few questions now. First as i said earlier i live in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne and i want to know a reliable source for FAIRLY cheap nerf guns nearby (however, I dont really want to be travelling for more than 45 mins to get somewhere for that) I also want to know if there are any nerf wars nearby. Im willing to go much further to get to one of these .Last question, I want to start painting my guns. Ive heard that Krylon Fusion is supoosed to be really good for this but im not sure where you can get it here or if it even is in australia so id like someone to clarify this for me.

Welcome to the forums. I think you should probably structure your writing with a bit of 'paragraphing'. It makes it way easier to read. HUrts my eyes reading it :(. Haha. Anyway, you better attend some wars, Melbourne is severely needing dedicated people from what I hear.

Hey welcome to OzNerf! For cheap blasters, you just missed out on BIG W's Toy Sale :P. For wars, Alpha_Chick is hosting a war near you, Go to the thread in the Nerf Wars section. For spray paint, Krylon Fusion is quite hard to find instores, you have better luck online.

anyway, thanks for telling me about the paint and nerf war.

If anyone knows any paints good for nerf guns a bit easier to find than krylon fusion id appreciate it

Heh I didn't see that

I good quality priced paint is White Knight Squirts. $8 a can in Bunnings. If you have the money you can get Tamiya Spray Paint for around $11 a can, although it's really small, it's really good. You can ask one of our members like clunk07.

For paints, just use a good plastic primer from Bunnings then get some Tamiya Spray Paints. I think there's a thread all about it.

Welcome aboard. There are quite a few people involved in Melbourne, just not as regularly as we'd like. (I'm also guilty of meaning to get around to organising meetings one day).
