Hey everyone, just like to say Hi.

I first stumbled upon this forum looking at mod guides and videos, so i decided to sign up hoping to learn more. Im 20 and live in the Sydney west region, currently working and studying part time.

I just started getting into the nerf n-strike range and other dart guns, they're so much fun =D
It all started with a Buzz bee double shot I purchased for $12 out of boredom (I got 2 btw). After looking at some mod videos, i decided to give it a go, turning one into a sawed off style shotgun. From then, something inside clicked and i wanted to get more

Here's some pics of my double shot. Mods done are drill out the shells and air restrictors, satin black paint (Septone Vinyl plastic paint), and red shells
    https://2img.net/r/ihimg/g/7/img0347dd.jpg/

As soon as I got my tax return done, and various shops having a toy sale at this time, i decided to get my hands on 3 more, the long shot, maverick twin pack and a raider. I've modded one of my mavericks and just started to mod my longshot, removing the air restrictors, looking at metal internals in future.

My next buy will be a longstrike, recon, and nitefinder twin pack. Gotta wait till 21st for target to have their sale.
I'm still spewing cause i missed out on the $20 sonic/transparent green recon from toys r us

Anyways, hope to know a few people on here and ill be posting my progress as i continue to mod and paint my nerf range

You should know that recons and longstrikes yield disappointing results from modifying.

^ dude, no welcome? How nice.

Anyway welcome to the forum dude. Have fun modding various types of guns. You'll have frustrating days, and other times where you'll be dancing because you just put that stefan through a cardboard box with your newest epeen.

    Welcome to the forums

Looks like you need to get your keyboard fixed, btw. Some keys don't appear to be working. Maybe a loose connection?

    Hey, welcome to the forums.

Hope you enjoy your time here.

Cheaper option for the LS is aluminium reinforcement - alot cheaper than metal internals, but it's a personal preference. There's heaps of info in the mod directory on all of this.

    Cheers,

If you're planning to attend wars you should best ask the organiser if you're allowed to bring those 'painted black' blasters to wars. In sydney there has already been a case recently of a blaster being confiscated due to the colour of what it has been painted. Mind you, these policemen came with the guns drawn, PM synergie or Echoes for a detailed accoutn of what had happen.

Thanks for the welcomes, yea i know the longstrike and recon are disappointing, but i just want them purely for looks and visual modding. Im gonna concentrate mainly on the longshot.

I painted them black for home use only, i know that you need some orange indicator for the tip to show that its a fake weapon

Hey there, welcome to Oznerf. As pointed out earlier by Lilbro, we have had a couple of problems with police recently. We asked about wrapping the tip with orange tape or something, and the answer was fairly definitive - "It's definitely not enough".

We'd advise that you don't bring a matte black blaster to a war, but if you absolutely must, it'll fall victim to my bright red roll of electrical tape :P.

But yes, hopefully Synergie and I can get wars off the ground again, and we hope to see you there!
