Sydney Modding Day Official Breakdown:
This is the final installment of the Official Breakdown.. Dates/Times/Whereabouts will not be changed now.. Please try to attend, and make this a day worth remembering

Where: Nurragingy Reserve (Public Transport/Station Shuttle available)
When: 27/8/11 (Saturday 27th August)
Time: 10:00 - Whenever the good times stop rolling

The day will consist of no real rules or structure.. We are their to meet and greet primarily, and showcase modifications. Feel free to bring whatever you like to the event, but please use common sense (No black blasters should be displayed).


You can engage in random FFA/TDM on the day, but nothing has been set in stone. It's a muck around day for all to have fun.. So please keep your EPEEN blasters for range testing only, not bruise testing. Bring any blaster you like to showcase how uber pwnzor it is, or to simply say.. Yep.. This is a NF!


Other Details:
Some food will be provided on the day, I'll bring some sausages and we can all have a good ol' sausage sizzle day. But please feel free to bring drinks or any other snacks etc that you might like to share around, sharing is caring people!


Trading/Selling is encouraged on the day.. This will save everybody atleast $5 postage on any item they want from their Sydney members.. So if you have stuff you want to offload, bring it.. If you have items you want to trade away, bring it.. If you have beef with me, BRING IT!!

If anyone is between Thornleigh and Blacktown.. I might be able to pick them up

Synergie, let me put your mind at ease.. By saying, off anyone is foolish enough to bring a black blaster.. I will personally coat it in my finest pink blaster paint..

I expect everyone understands the guidelines, and is mature enough to abide.. If not, they go home with a salmon coloured blaster

Lock me in as CONFIRMED! Keep in mind, I'm mainly there for meet n greet and impromptu skirmishes. I just bought a pair of these THROAT MICs from ebay for my two-ways, doubtful they will arrive before the day though (coming from HK). I will have to be gone by 4 or 5pm though (work begins at 6:30pm)

I might be able to make it to this one, not conformed, but maybe. I am literally about 5 mins away from the venue, so it'd be easy if we have nothing on that day to get there. I'd also like someone my own age to be there... lol

I could bring a younger mate on board.. he knows nothing about modding as he doesn't have the tools

After making the pleasant discovery that it's only about 2 hours by train, I plan on being there, despite my mods being VERY basic and still using stock parts.

That's no problem MrJens. You might catch the modding bug from us.

I have a K26 but it's already been cut down into two. What do you need a K26 for?

Hmm well I suppose my cut-down K26 might work then? You may need to remove an extra loop or two though for one of the springs.

I could not bring all my stuff to show but will be doing so for the sept 3 war!

Here are a few photo's I bothered to take before I got distracted by nerfing

Psychosis and MisterJens getting straight into it, replacing the springs in their blasters with uber springs from Echoes.


Arrival of Echoes with his big box of darts and sore left arm which did not stop him from nerfing (guess he couldn't resist XD)


Aiden showing some stuff to random spectators who came to see what we were up to - the dad was very cool about it and liked what he saw even allowing the 2 girls to have a shot before taking the kids away (bit irresponsible? lucky for us that he wasn't outraged though... lol) also shown in this pic is Kat (orange hair), Dan (Guitar shirt), and Synergie (stampede)


Everyone taking pot shots at Aiden - the ever willing human test dummy for modified nerf blasters...


After that we broke out into a dart sweep combined with random shoot outs, however 30 minutes later a ranger patrol came by and asked us to stop so after that we packed up our gear and started our sweet wood-fired BBQ!


Big thanks to psychosis and RL for organising and bringing supplies+snags for lunch, also Mister Jens brought 5kg of chicken wings from Nando's which was epic!!
Also thanks Reece for the carpool, appreciate it
