I'll have to commend the rayven for it's compactness. It's an SMG sized blaster. The biggest improvement I believe in the n-strike flywheel blasters is that the on/off switch is under the trigger and it's just a spring push button to turn it on.

Not that shitty switch you have on the barricade which is ridiculously un-ergonomically placed where your thumb is.

...sometimes I wonder if the people from Hasbro troll the internet looking at what mods people are doing to use as ideas for new designs. "clip fed mod and trigger activated flywheel spool-up on a barricade? we should make a new one, but just do those things! aren't we so smart?"

Hey, at least they save us the trouble of doing it ourselves :).

Though I really wish they go back to using direct plunger systems.

Agh curse you child friendly guns!

it's a good thing Buzz Bee and Lanard are still around to keep Nerf 'honest', in a way. The most powerful blasters I have aren't from Nerf, and Nerf's most powerful one is from last decade - just goes to show how its really weakened its blasters

^I've noticed that with my collection as well. My Brass breeched Longshot just can't compare to my PAS.

I believe that has already been done, I think it was called airsoft.
Too bad that that hobby isn't particularly legal here and costs an arm and a leg T_T

Mate, it's no big stretch of the imagination to think they would.

I'm also sure they've got no real problem with modders either, as they are probably a measurable percentage of their sales.

Really when you think about it, here is where their products are upgraded into what kids really want.

Kind of like a free R&D department.
