Thought I'd contribute my meagre modifications so far, hopefully I have something new and interesting to show!

First up is what I hope will prove to be a good blastercam (it will get its first field test on the 5th with a HvZ game)...straight forward idea, just used a standard GoPro mount onto the base of the flip up sight you got/get with the Recon. Means its interchangeable and reasonably stable.

As you can see in the second pic, I've got my Stampede. Hopefully the bits I've ordered arrive soon to begin the mod process. Bought a few springs from Servulus I believe, tossing up between just going to Jaycar for the 12v battery or waiting for the truefires to arrive. I may even run the gun stock first so I can appreciate the difference!

    <EDIT> Image problem fixed =) </EDIT>

sounds good mate, i been thinking of a way to do a gun cam properly. i use to just sticky tape my digital camera onto my vulcan and run around with that.

as for the pictures create an account on http://imageshack.us/ and when you upload photos you can use the direct link to image in the post when linking to pictures.

    Thanks frosty, that got it!

A few guys last weekend had improvised mounts, but the picture quality they post was pretty average. My GoPro's do a great job when I strap them to my car, so I'm expecting awesome footage out of them next weekend.

Off to Jaycar to get myself a battery...

Well the mount didn't make it to the HvZ game due to a last minute technical failure (ie: the mount broke!) which is a pity because I would have gotten some awesome footage of just how good automatics are against the un-armed haha

New and improved mount should hopefully get its field test on the 26th...lets see what happens!

GoPro HeroHD...originally got it for trackdays and suctioning outside my car. Pricey but tough and good quality.

Tell me about it! This Stampede is eventuall going to be my backup, my other one I'm going to do a lot more with (AR, padding etc) so I'm going to make a second mount and either have it on the top hand rail, or above the stock area. Funnily enough I originally placed the camera forward because I didn't want the gun to take up too much of the shot. Over compensated it seems.

I used the same camera, though my setup was a little more crude, basically just drilled a hole into the same recon attachment.

Is great having a camera you can stick on any gun, but it does look better when you can see the barrel:
