Kind of what the title says. I personally don't modify my guns, being generally terrible at it. I've shown up to a few wars, and enjoyed myself, but again, I'm running on stock. Since it's a new year, I thought I'd ask this.

Should I even bother showing up to wars? Or should I just forget it and now bother showing up to anything next year?

It depends on what blasters you own and also your playiing style. Something like a raider or alpha trooper, even while stock, would be useful in a war as they can unload a high volume of darts very quickly and thus suiting a rush playstyle very well.

In any case, going to wars would be a great way to meet other people, and hey, they could even teach you a thing or two about modding.

No doubt you could turn up to wars that are played in smaller areas and do just fine, like apokalyptik said, raiders and alpha troopers are pretty useful even in stock form. try dodging like 30 darts in 4 seconds, not easy. And those long range super modded air blasters need to be pumped up, right? That opens up a small window to rush...

Just be prepared to rock up with plenty of welts. Modifying blasters take practice. The NiteFinder is probably the best blaster to start with. The Maverick is the next.

Mind you, my cousin and killerbunny has turned up to wars with stock raiders and ATs and still manage to win.

All you need is a NiteFinder.
