Dart (Gun) Tag Stormfire Rip Off Review

After holdentem mentioned this blaster, some of the guys from Brisbane has discovered this around crazy clarkes for $7 each. They are a rip off dart tag stormfire gun. It includes a pretty ghetto but cool pistol scope.



On first glance you would probably think it's probably just another 'piece of junk'. However, I was moderately impressed with it's ranges. Shooting a lite silicone tip about 40-50ft STOCK. The aeshetics is extremely comfortable and the blade sights includes are very accurate. If those who are curious of it's internals, our member heist (Alex) has posted pictures of it's internals and comparison from the real and fake dart tag stormfire.

As you can probably see in those pictures, the fake storm fire has a 'seemingly' beefier looking spring. I can confirm that this spring very beefy and it also comes with a beefy catch spring.

Overall: If you're looking for a stormfire look-a-like, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing one. This makes a great sidearm and you don't even really need to modify it. For it's price it's great for $7. I give this blaster a 9/10 =).

are these available at chicken feed?

Since I've been in QLD, I haven't seen a chicken feed. I think they're only in Tassie, but we have something similar called 'dollars and sense', and I haven't seen any I'm there, but it Is a different store so I'm not really sure.

Seems quite impressive, I looked for one in 3/4 of the Chickenfeed's near me, and none of them had it.
Even the staff had no clue why they weren't there.

[EDIT] Just got 2 of them, they were $9 because the sale had ended, but that's still okay.

After more tests. I have discovered they shoot as well as a modified furyfire with dart tag spring STOCK. So the ranges are actually quite impressive for a stock blaster.

I highly recommend this blaster for those who only use 'stock blasters' at wars.

can that scope be used on nerf blasters? could be really cool for a steampunk pistol...

Unfortunately the fake stormfire's 'rails' are a little smaller than that Nerf rails.

I am modding this gun right now, and I can tell you that while it's rail is smaller than other guns, its plunger tube is identical to that of a night finders in every way, it is even glued shut, but right now I am making a breach, I will tell you when it is done. Also did you notice the spring gets full compression when cocked? Note also that it has ready-made spaces for AA batteries, so a laser sight would be a good idea (has plenty if space bellow the barrel for that two)

Very nice find. There are some Chickenfeed's around the place in Victoria as well I've seen so I might have a search around the Bendigo area. I wonder if anyone else has noticed that there is also a fake Nitefinder that they make so keep your eyes out for one.
