BEST type of dart for Nerf Maverick?

hi guys, i'm new to this forum.
i would like to ask what's the best type of darts for the Nerf Maverick for the best fire power and range? i know you can increase the fire range by modifying it AR removal etc. but i'm asking specifically about darts.

Your best bet would be to replace the barrels with PETG and make/buy stefans using Inf0rm3r items, you can buy his things on his thread which is in the trading thread.
Or if you're lazy, like me, use streamlines/clip system darts, you will have to take the dart post out first.

Why do you need to take the dart post out? I had a maverick that I used with streamlines and it worked fine with the dart post in.

Ive noticed that too. Recent Trials with streamlines in blasters like the mav/nf stock show that they work just as well with whistlers.


Back on topic, I use whistlers over stickys, just because they get more distance lol.

In my experience:
Whistlers - Most consistent high range, accuracy decent
Taggers - Fairly high consistent range, accuracy good
Suctions - Medium consistent range, accuracy excellent
Streamlines - Inconsistent range, accuracy terrible

Or in other words, with the consistent darts, range is inversely proportional to accuracy (for those maths-minded).

To answer your question in 1 word, Whistlers.

I just hate the sound of the whistlers, they are just too noisy. If i get them, could i block the holes of the whistlers to stop the noise and still get the same performance as a stock whistler dart?

what about the stinger darts, lite darts or heavy darts that inform3r sells? you guys didn't mention any of them.

Ah right. Stingers probably shoot the most accurate out of the maverick. Range will be a bit better and it will leave abit of a sting. Heavy darts, will shoot the least range, but still be accurate. Lite darts are ideal if you don't want a sting.

are lite darts the same as stingers in range and accuracy?
do stingers leave light bruises?

Stingers leave welts rather rather than bruises. From a maverick though, it won't be much.
