I am in the process of completing a semi-auto magstrike with bbumb internals and saw the last blue hornet at my local toys r us for $16.98. Should i buy it and integrate it into my magstrike and future mods or should i let it go and use my money for a tripleshot abit later on?
    Thanks

Well, that's personal preference I guess. Hornet tanks are back-pressured, so you will need a dump valve for them to operate. Obviously there's one with the blaster, but if you're looking at multiple integrations, then you'll need more. Ranges aren't phenomenal, but you can expand the tank by epoxying two together.
From my experience though, the tanks can be rather finicky when it comes to sealing.
At the end of the day, that's probably not a bad price, although with current toy sales, you could get a full unity system for not a great deal more.

    Cheers,

Thanks for your insight. I think i'm going to cancel it and buy a triple shot instead... but i really want that hornet. Would aquarium stores possibly sell dump valves? and at around how much? if they are as cheap as check valves, i'll probably go ahead with both of them. Though dump valves are a more compicated type of valve so i expect the price to be a fair bit more.
Cheers (now i'm going to start using it)
    thanks again

I'm pretty sure there's 2 or 3 dump valves in each hornet, one at the top that the Titan triggers, and the two big blast buttons ?
