has anyone explored the possibilities of making stainless steel internals for nerf blasters?
I was looking through http://www.shapeways.com/ when I found a magstrike clip. I dont own a magstrike, so I wasn't excited, but then i thought, what about smaller, crucial pieces, like catches, backplates, triggers, and extras.

Does anyone have any ACCURATE 3d models of nerf blaster internals? It could mean that could be bulk bought and sold to Aussies here at lower prices than OMW or xplorer

    For example
3d Printing Capabilities *NEED HELP* M-at1-10
    A Longshot stability piece
3d Printing Capabilities *NEED HELP* M-at1-11
    An Alpha Trooper Catch
3d Printing Capabilities *NEED HELP* M-at1-12
    A Longshot end-cap and catch
3d Printing Capabilities *NEED HELP* M-at1-13
    An N-strike back-plate

Is this possible, and will anybody try?

While I could model them, the price of printing them outweighs any potential gain for something like a magstrike clip. If you're building something like an aluminimum replacement, then you're looking at CNC milling something, which is quite expensive to get started, not to mention how much material you'd go through - and there are a lot of sellers of those items already.

I'm not interested in Magstrikes, I have more interest in a backing plate.
I know that magstrike clips are cheaper when bought off other people.
But small, flat, super strong pieces are what I think could be modeled and printed in an affordable way.

But please, if you can, try to send me those models
