It's been a while since I've posted an event on Oznerf, but hopefully any Sydney-siders who are lurking out there might find this interesting. If you have any questions, join us on our FACEBOOK GROUP or email us at Sydneynerfwars@gmail.com

Due to some playful banter on the facebook group, this war has been dubbed the Newbies vs Veterans war. If you're thinking of attending your first event, be prepared for a baptism of fire!

    When: Saturday, 24th November.

    Where: Carysfield Park

Navigate yourself to 25 Johnston Road, Bass Hill. You'll see a large car park. Park in there somewhere and you're pretty much right outside the war location.

    General Rules and Guidelines:
One of the features that Sydney Nerf Wars has is a generalised set of rules that help ensure the safety and enjoyable experience for all members. For a list of those Rules and Guidelines, refer to the Sydney Nerf Wars General Rules Set located on our group Blog.

On the day, we'll be playing a game called Performance Enhanced Wars (PEW). Have no idea what it is? It's only the most fun you'll ever have, no big deal. Follow the link above for a bit more detail!

We'll also be playing a couple of Sydney's favourite game types on the day:
    Team Deathmatch
    Squad Deathmatch

    Make sure you come prepared!

    Food/Drink and Bathrooms:
At the last few events, we've just had sausage after sausage. While every real man loves a sausage sizzle, sometimes you just need a good burger.

Carysfield Park has the luxury of a Mcdonalds (and other takeaway joints) just across the road. Be sure to bring money for said takeaway joints.

With the summer months incoming, we're expecting the temperature to rocket upward. Therefore, we recommend you bring a few bottles of water to drink between rounds.

There IS a toilet at Carysfield park, but the last time it was used, there was poo everywhere. So best not to flip the coin on that one. Head over to maccas. They're generally pretty good, aren't they?

    Dart Hire:
For details about Dart Hire, read this post on the Blog!

    Tactical Gear et al.:
Please exercise common sense in what you wear to events. We don't want to see anyone in FULL BDU's with matching vests, or wearing completely black gear. Also, please avoid wearing headscarves or paintball masks. We don't want to convey the wrong image to the public. For more information, consult the General Rules Set that has been linked above.

And remember, as always, eye protection is NECESSARY. No eye protection, no play.

Hit up the Facebook Event Page and get your RSVP in now!
