    Omw kit alternative?

    Post  Maskroyale95014 on Tue Aug 14, 2012 2:46 pm

    Hi
I am looking for an alternative mod kit for the nerf raider and long strike. It should be able to shoot normal streamlines as well as be a bit like Omw massacre in that it has the full internals thing.
    Sorry for bad description
    Hopefully you understand
    Maskroyale

Ps please don't say to build it myself I am not that skilled or bothered.

Epoxied 10c or washer on the back of the plunger tube as well.

    Not on a long strike.

Xplorer Dart Developements make some great kits, but they can only take stephans, but you can buy the
bolt sled separately, or make some of your own xplorer stephan darts, which they also sell

The back of the plunger has this thing on it.

I cut a washer in half, and epoxied that on the plunger. Not positive if it's really a structurally weak point, but it can't hurt to reinforce it, can it?!

    Cheers,

Top half is not stressed, wouldn't make a scrap of difference.
Bottom might maybe make a difference maybe.

Yeh, my theory was that it couldn't hurt. Not that my lstrk is majorly maxed out in the modding dept, nor do I fire it much, but there was a fair bit of effort put in to the paint job, with some expensive paint, so I figured it was smarter to do whatever I could to increase it's life-span.

    Cheers,

Sometimes I feel like I'm just slamming my d#*k in a door when I try to sell Australian made...

    I wouldn't bother with a Longstrike.

The best reverse plunger blaster is the Alpha Trooper by far.

If you really want a rifle size, the Longshot craps all over the Longstrike for price and performance.

If you fit it with this kit, it will own:

So for about 100 bucks, you could have your modded AT for close-mid range rapid fire, and your modded LS for mid-long range shots and KILL THEM ALL.
