My Dad smashed all my Nerf Blasters...

Hello Everyone!
A sad topic today...About a week ago, my dad was not very happy, and for some reason, he decided to smash almost all 37 of my Nerf Blasters. I still have 5 of my best blasters...but 2 of my favourites got smashed up with the rest.

So I just want to say that I will not be able to mod any Nerf Blasters, and my stefan service will not go on.

But I have 1 more Nerf Project...a Pump SNAP...Since it is a homemade,My dad thought that it was some leftover PVC crap, so he left it alone...
This will be a 'test' project to see how it goes (and to see whether I can make everything under cover without my dad noticing). And if it turns out well, I may be making many more homemades in the future.

So from here on end, I will not be modding any blasters, but I may be making more homemades.

Sorry to hear that Jeremy, always not comfortable to hear this kind of incidence happened in a family. I hope there will be no further dispute happening again, and that you and your dad can make peace.

Thanks for your concern. My dad wants me to concentrate on my studies( which I have for the past 2 years and gotten straight A's), but I don't see the need to smash up around $3000 worth of modified Nerf blasters...

Ah yes, I was about to ask if it was study related. While I understand he only wants the best for you I find that dads can......go the wrong way about things.

Wow, that is quite a shock, what ticked him over the edge? (Besides the studying)
The way he acted quite mentally, raging at all those blasters, you must've pissed him off quite bad.

Question: Did he use a weapon? (The damage is immense, just curious)

I feel sorry for you and does he recognise that they costed so much?

The thing I don't get is, why just smash them? Well, shame to hear though, you cOuld try to make some money back by selling any parts left over I guess. Glad to see the Nf I commissioned survived, but I don't see the jolt.

Gee, that's crap. Out of curiosity, though, how bad is the damage to the internals? Based on what I can see most of the visible damage to it is in one spot, but is there any other damage inside? I hope there's at least some parts you can still use, or salvage. I wish that there was something I could do. This is really a sad thing to happen not only because of all the money that was spent on those blasters but also all the time and effort you put into them.

All I can really say now is good luck. I hope you can work this out.

I have No Idea where the Jolt went...I checked the bins where he put the smashed up Nerf blasters, but it was Nowhere to be found...

The BBLS was the one that survived the most...I want to see whether the Brass Breech still works. My BBLS was reinforced which is why He couldn't break it very easily...The Rest of the Blasters had their internals totally smashed up.

I have No idea what made him that angry...he must have had a bad day.

He used a Sledgehammer to smash al of my blasters up.

I have No idea whether he knew the time, money and effort I put into all my Nerf blasters. And whether he even thought about selling them.

I hope I can drop by to your place some time, I should be able to go back to Nerf in 2 years or so. But don't worry, my dad has No Idea that there are such things as Homemade Nerf blasters.
So for now, It's all homemades for me.

Wow thats a bit excessive, I feel sorry for you mate. As for your BBLS, from the pic the brass breech still looks intact, so I would suggest buying a shell from somebody ($5-$15) and transfer your internals into it.
