Why talk about the packet that it comes in? its because the Laser Finder's package is hilarious, and has so much copied images and symbols.
Nitefinder
Laser Finder
Oddly enough, there are 2 cardboard targets in the packet but only one stand. this stems from the SLD Dart Blaster which has 2 cardbord targets
Darts
As you can see from the packaging above, the Nite finder has only 3 darts compared to the Laser Finders 6.
The orange tipped Laser Finder darts are slightly longer, but have pretty much the exact foam size and density.
The poorly made tips on the Laser Finder darts do not stick very well and can fall off very easy. but these tips are lighter than nerfs.
Asthetics
They look almost exactly the same and feel exactly the same to use. The Laser finder is much harder to cock than the Nite finder and is much louder. The paintjob on the laser finder is horrible. its scratched, the details are over painted the logo is peeling off and the paint feels a little strange. the battery dorrs are diffrent too. the Nitefinder has it battery door screwed on, where as the Laser finder has a hatch.
Targeting beam
This is where the Laser finder steps into its own. It uses a real laser, where as the Nitefinder has a LED and a condenser lens. But the Nite finders red dot can be ajusted. on both, the dots are activated with a half pull of the trigger, but the trigger on the laser finder is a little rougher, so its not as easy to get the dot to shine before it fires.

As you can see, the laser finder has more power. but did have some trouble with consistancy. It could just have been down to user error though.
