Re: Persuader mk1
I thought I'd better clear some things up on the persuader.
Comfort: surprisingly comfortable for something made from a bunch of cut up parts. Stock is nice and long and the handle moulds to your hand. It is quite heavy though, and the pump gets in the way.
Looks: Looks pretty cool IMO. The paint isn't a bad colour, but it was painted really badly and it chips like a bitch.
Performance: I was using a 1m barrel, but in hindsight that was a bit too lang, even for a tank this size. The tank also tends to expand, meaning that without cable ties you've just got an extremely stiff bladder, killing performance. Currently I am using a 12inch PETG barrel nested into the breach displayed in the picture (BTW, PETG nests airtight into 15mm poly tubing). The barrel is too short, but the tight fit (I use whit foam) seems to be very good for the gun. I'm easily getting further than my bigblast with 10 pumps, keeping in mind that the barrel is too short and I haven't tried 15 pumps yet I think thats very good. So overall, I'd say it has slightly more potential than a titan for about the same fire rate. Personally I think I payed way too much for it, but I like it anyway.
Primary of doom? Maybe not. Pretty good? Yeah, I'd say so.
Titans can suck my...converted water gun.
