when i got my titan and hornet for christmas I was expecting the hornet to be a piece of junk from what I have heard on other forums but when it was loaded and primed and I fired all six in quick PURE SEMI AUTO fire I thought "hell this gun aint a bad secondary". so here's the lowdown:
The nerf hornet is a medium sized air tank nerf brand gun with a six dart capacity. the hornet is primed by first pulling a handle on the front of the gun which resets the firing order and then the gun is pumped up similar to a water pistol. The hornet has 2 firing mechanisms the primary fire which is used with a normal trigger pull is a semi automatic fire which the darts fire in an order similar to the direction one reads english text. The gun hits about 10 meters average but can be unreliable hitting as little as 2 meters or as many as 15. The guns secondary fire is a shotgun style fire in which all 6 darts are fired simultaneously this fire gets much the same ranges as the primary fire but obviously results in an instant lack of ammo and the need to re-prep the gun (this takes some time). The guns most useful feature is the semi auto fire and its moderate range which makes it a perfect secondary when your higher powered slower firing primary is unsuitable or out of ammo. I would advise having it constantly loaded and primed in case of an "emergency".
In all this gun is not without its uses but may not suit all buyers.
