This isn't much of a write up, just some things I've been doing to my belt blaster. Just been modding by the seat of my pants. Some people my find this usefull though.

    Belt Blaster: Some mods. Bbr1

First of all the Plunger tube needed some drilling out. Just to the same diameter as the rubber washer. the hole there orignaly is tiny. newer model Blet blasters have an air restrictor here, Mine didn't. I got one of the first belt blasters here.

With the larger hole and Peg removed belt it can hit 12-14 meters. thats with white foam stefans. Stock nerf darts are too loose with the peg out. The belt has been reduced down to 20 shells instead of 30. Winterstrike has proven that to be a winning strategy. I was planing to brass the belt but i'd need 3 feet which would cost me 21 bucks...

Now I'm working on putting more compression on the spring with some scraps of plastic. Much like a penny mod in a maverick. I was going to do a spring addition, but its damm near impossible to do, unless you cut the plunger rod in half. bad idea.

These little clamps are so very handy with the gluing process.

WARNING! Orignaly I had it like this, with 2 layers. But thats too thick and it messes with the belt removal hatch.

    Belt Blaster: Some mods. Bbr6
For some more compression, some Epoxy putty was added. to form the shape, I pushed the spring into the soft putty.

    Belt Blaster: Some mods. Bbr4

there it is all closed up. with its x3 20 round belts.

Adding the extra compression added almost no benifits in range, but does help with reinforcement.

Thanks mate, Nice write up or what ever you want to call it. I have never bought one of these Because i picked one up at the shop and the plastic looked paper thin! o it would brake with the littlest force.

    Cheers,
    Nick

Just a little update in the first post. But I proved addding more compression on the spring added almost nothing. But I'm planning on doing some more work to it.
