    but it's finally done
    My new Longshot.

I normally wouldn't create a whole new thread, but this was something special.
2 weeks work, even more went into this and it has paid off nicely.

I started out with a stock yellow longshot, brought all the way from Canberra.
Next I opened her up, removed the ARs, added a NF spring and a brass barrel. I also removed the useless locks. Now is when the big decision occurred. Should I cut up this nice new gun, to integrate the front gun? I said yes.

This is what took the longest. I had it all integrated in one day, but it looked like shit. I then spent a lot of time, smoothing out layers of Builder's Bog (look it up ) to get it perfect. Once that was done, came the paint.

The colour I chose is Brunswick Green (don't ask why I chose this colour) So I sanded the whole gun down and put down a light base coat of flat black. I then hand painted 1 layer of the grren paint, the 3 layers of spray, then the final layer of hand painting.

After it finally dried, came reassembly. After fiddling with the LSFG trigger for an hour or two, I decided to just have it as a keyring trigger. I put it all back together and here we are.

If your lokking for a challenging mod, have a crack at this, you won't regret it.

I think that the green looks sweet with the orange.
Also did you try placing the lsfg up more So you didnt have to use so much glue to make it neat?

Thanks, my goal was to have the front straight, and not have the gun stick out. The hot glue only holds it in place, the smoothness was created with putty.

looks very nice, looks like the LSFG was always there!

    Thanks, I know yeh.

i know you have already said that $60 on brass is a waste for one gun but angel breech it its worth it. Its just godlike the ranges the accuracy everything i will never make a longshot without an angel breech after i made mine.

Seeing that you have done both mods is the front gun intergration and angel breech hard to do.

the front gun integration is a little harder to do than the angel breech but im very mechanicaly minded im trying not to sound like it but as soon as i understand how something works its very easy for me to do

Wouldn't a Nitefinder spring rattle around in there like hell. They are quite alot shorter than the Longshot spring.

I did add one and a half cause I agree, the rattling is enough to drive you mad. But the NF spring is only temporary until a get a new C-836 spring.

The wire creating the LSFG trigger snapped so I had to open it back up. This time I used strong wire (copper instead of zinc). While I was at it, I added a Recon spring and took out the NF spring. Works much better and it 10 times quieter.
