My new Longshot.
I normally wouldn't create a whole new thread, but this was something special.
2 weeks work, even more went into this and it has paid off nicely.
I started out with a stock yellow longshot, brought all the way from Canberra.
Next I opened her up, removed the ARs, added a NF spring and a brass barrel. I also removed the useless locks. Now is when the big decision occurred. Should I cut up this nice new gun, to integrate the front gun? I said yes.
This is what took the longest. I had it all integrated in one day, but it looked like shit. I then spent a lot of time, smoothing out layers of Builder's Bog (look it up ) to get it perfect. Once that was done, came the paint.
The colour I chose is Brunswick Green (don't ask why I chose this colour) So I sanded the whole gun down and put down a light base coat of flat black. I then hand painted 1 layer of the grren paint, the 3 layers of spray, then the final layer of hand painting.
After it finally dried, came reassembly. After fiddling with the LSFG trigger for an hour or two, I decided to just have it as a keyring trigger. I put it all back together and here we are.
If your lokking for a challenging mod, have a crack at this, you won't regret it.
