So lots of noobs have been asking about the Magstrike. Heres your answer!

    The N-Strike Magstrike!

This is a fantastic blaster which out-do's all the rest. On 32 pumps it shoots 10 in 2 seconds. This thing is like a modified Dart Tag version. It's hitting my door thats 35ft away only dropping at the end.

It only comes with one clip and 10 Sonic micro darts. The clip is fairly easy to load and reload and is a good size. It is fairly comfortable too, it looks a bit strange with the bladder on there but it doesn't really make a difference.
The only difficult thing about this blaster is trying not to shoot all the darts at once! When shooting slow, if you have skill, you can let off one or two darts at a time.

Video will be uploaded on Sunday the 4th, as my internet has been slowed.

Why? I haven't broken any rules. I can't upload any pictures at the moment anyhow.

Just checked range about 30ft with Sonics.

Well I pump it 32 times incase I feel like burst fire because that uses more air for some reason.

    ?

So does the release valve kick in, or have you plugged it or something, because if you haven't your not achieving anything.

'Burst' fire uses more air as the air that is leftover from cycling the valve is let out, where as when fired non stop all the air is used.

On the box it says: 'pump 22-32 times'. Its not plugged only air restrictor removal... for now.

well thats retarded, mine only takes 19-20 pumps before the release valve kicks in, and I have the 'inferior' iron man one.

I've got the N-Strike Magstrike, and while yes, you *can* pump it 32 times, the over pressure valve usually kicks in somewhere around 20-25 pumps. I trimmed the valve down, so I can pump it a good 35 times before the valve kicks in, which is *almost* enough for two whole clips, if you're careful with the trigger.

I am thinking about getting one. Are they very reliable or do they break easily? Can they shoot streamlines and micro darts? (suction capped darts)

Yeah, I'm probably pumping it too much.

@BPV it won't break unless you mistreat it or you are unlucky. From what I've heard the N-strike edition does not break as easily plus it has higher RoF. It can shoot micro darts and if you cut out the air restrictors, which is extremly easy, you can shoot 13mm stefans.

I'm new here, in terms of moddability and everything else would it be better to buy myself a magstrike? or a longshot? Seeing as they both have their ups and downs in many areas.

Probably a Longshot because of modding potential and epic awesomeness.

If you try to mod a longshot as your first mod there is a big chance that you will stuff it up, where as Magstrikes, they are easy as piss to mod and have great outcomes, I recomend you pick them up while they are dirt cheap.

All 3 types of magstrike have different amounts that you can pump them. I'll post a comparison seeming as I now have all 3.
DTG, Ironman & N-strike. I'm also comparing them to the AS-20 & powerclip just for interest's sake.

So far, I've compared them on rate of fire, rounds fired from 10 pumps & Stock pumps to max pressure.

Will post the results here when done. So please don't lock this thread yet.

EDIT: so far, the Ironman Magstrike seems like it is inferior. But it was leaking when I got it from AJ, so that'll throw off the results.

heh, what I want to see them make is a Magstrike where the bladder is included in the clip, instead of on the gun itself.

    Ya, the Magstrike is better.

I've got a PowerClip (DX 1000 - pretty much the same thing as the Magstrike, except without the bladder sticking out the back, and the exchangeable clips).

It's a great gun... I always fould it better for assaults than the RF20, but some people prefer the extra ammo (also the RF20 jams sometimes).

Oh yeah and I'm back XD

i pump my magstrike up 35 times and i shoot 2 mags all i did was cut a 1" shape where the release valve is, so the valve isnt hitting the wall earlier.

the worst part is i have only got 1 mag =(

nz golem you can put a hose clamp around the end of the bladded or between the bladder and the trigger theres a leak use some tape very tightly, wouldnt use hot glue it could burn the pipe.

Will they be selling the Magstrikes on sale again? I didn't buy one but now I'm thinking of getting one.

    Hopefully they do.
