If i wanted one answer yes but im not opening it just for myself.. This is helping people mod their Longshots with market springs.
This thread won't have a definitive answer. I am sure MANY people would like to know what spring dimensions to use or buy.
I am asking for dimensions for springsSSSS.. since when was there one type of spring.
Btw don't be such a smart ass..

Roughly the 2355896748265 time this information has been passed on: use a C836 spring from bunnings.]

    Haha CLASSIC.
But anyway he is right, the whole reason they made the questions thread was to keep these kind of threads from filling up this forum.

c386 have too much compression i have checked it out. it will definitely wreck your gun without solid reinforcement

yeah i know but there hasnt been one solid spring thread about modification.
everyone just says use c836 or i got it off so and so.
but no one has actually given proper dimensions
Getting proper dimensions could save us money and hassle.

Wrong mate, I originally discover this spring and have used it in multiple longshots without any breakage.

    SO...
    What does that change?
Anyway if you cocked it with one you will brake it but 2 hands= no brakes. XD

If you remove ar they are plenty good enough.toy guns aren't built to handle tough springs.

KingCam discovered the very same thing the hard way. If you put Mega-Mofo springs in your Longshot, and cock it on one side / one handed, it puts much more stress on that side of the boltsled, and if you repeat it enough, you can expose a weak point in the sled, and SNAP! Your longshot doesn't work anymore. So, to ensure longevity or your LS, either cock it with both hands, or use slightly weaker springs, and put up with 80-90ft ranges, opposed to 90+.

Add a nitefinder spring to the stock one, that'll do the trick nicely. don't bother with c836 springs unless you are a serious modder & you re-inforce the shizz out of everything. Also, you can add a tripleshot spring, it's not as crazy as the bunning's spring but you'll get better results.
