Freezing NERF Guns... Empty Freezing NERF Guns...

Post  Blazemitch Mon Jul 19, 2010 7:49 am

I left my NERF Recon in the Freezer for about 3 hours...
I had a NERF war against my friend, and when I shot the first dart, the Plunger broke.
I fixed it with Sticky Tape. Crude, but effective.

Placing your recon in the freezer caused the plastic to become brittle and subsequently break when it had endure forces produced from firing.

Freezing NERF Guns... Empty Reasons for Freezing

Post  Blazemitch Mon Jul 19, 2010 2:46 pm

The Reason that I froze my Recon, was because I was painting it. I wanted to dry it fastly, and I was getting some Ice Cubes, so I stuck it in the freezer. 3(OR SO Heheheh) Hours
And then afterward... Well, you know that.

2nd technique - using it at any decent war and having your enemies grab it out of your hands and beat you to death with it, breaking both you and it.

Frankie, this appears to be an alcohol fire, if so it is possible that this didnt actually generate enough heat to then set the plastic on fire.

    was this the case here?

Ahh so it was alcohol, since that is what they use in lynx and many other perfumes and the such.
