This topic might be already discussed about in the forum and I am starting to make Stefan dart but I couldn't find necessary material around Melbourne. I had checked some hardware warehouses but still couldn't find them. If there is anyone is making stefan in Melbourne, Please help me with finding its materials. Those material are:

Foam Backer Rod 1/2 inch - any colors
Fishing Weight or any suitable dart cap material

    Thanks

Uh..Australia don't use the imperial system. We use the metric. So what you'll want is 13 mm FBR.

    Look around the forum!

I sell blue foam tube better than stock darts, it's the best and cheapest you will find in the entire country.

    You will need four things:
    -Foam
    -Snap caps
    -Weights
    -Glue gun and glue sticks

I just recently purchased Inf0rm3rs blue foam, It is brilliant for stock barrels or brass breaches 17/32 for springers or 9/16 for airguns. And only .70 a meter.

Inf0rm3rs also sells snap caps but they will not fit into 17/32 brass breaches. So alternatively you can order from your own plastic distributer. I outsourced my snap caps as I wanted smaller diameter caps than informer offered, as I wanted to use them in 17/32 brass. I paid $14 for 1000.

Craft beads and sinkers are what I use, depending on how much weight you need in the Stefan. I get Large craft beads from a craft shop in Highpoint next to target, a bag of 3000 will set u back about $15. I get my small craft beads from a hobby shop in Highpoint that sells mainly board games, the beads are 1000 for $7. And I get my sinkers from K-mart, they are called 00 Sinkers and are sold in bags of 40 for $2.

Bunning’s sell glue guns for $6 each. Along with packets of glue sticks, the cost of which escapes me at the moment.

Hope this helps a fellow Melbournite out.
