    magstrike help! Empty magstrike help!

Post  random guy Tue Sep 28, 2010 11:55 am

I got a magstrike yesterday and i am very happy with it.The only thing i don't like is sometimes when i fire, 1 or 2 darts don't come out(the 4th one down and/or the bottom one).

The other reason im considering returning it is sometimes the clip starts to rise then on the 4 shot it doesn't fire and the only thing it does is it starts to make a sound like it's leaking air.

Can anyone help please I don't want to return it?

Hold the trigger to fire them all at once or tap the trigger to shoot 2+ at a time and it should reset it i guess dont ask me why.

Eh that's not right, how many times are you pumping it up?

Pump It untill you hear the "hiss" from the end of the bladder. Then try, un modded you should almost be able to fire 2 clips.

I pump it 30 times and when i shake it i can hear a rattling sound like a screw coming from were the bladder is.

It seem to be working now after leaving it for a while.

Why even bother troubleshooting? Take the damn thing back to the shop and get a new one.

The problem could be that there is something wrong with the barrels that don't fire. Eg. they are too wide, too thin etc. Or it could be that the back of the clip is faulty; the holes for airflow in the wrong spot so the air leaks around it.

I fixed that by pulling the darts out a few millemeters.

And tell them it didn't work , or come with a clip.

Plug it and pump it up more!
    Enbiggen (make bigger) the bladder!
    Just some suggestions.
If you dont want to do that, take it back to the store.
