    Post  lazzari Sun Nov 07, 2010 11:04 am

    i modified my dart to travel, 15feet longer, how;

    get a normal or stefan dart.
    at the base of the dart, cut it straight at 1.5-1.75 inches
    then cut a x in the dart and spread the quarters.
    this will make then ends of the dart wider and allow more air to flow through the dart

    Grab a standard dart, or a stefan.
    Starting at the base of the dart, cut it in half, 1.5 to 1.75 inches deep (assuming your darts are long enough to accomodate this)
    Then, cut perpendicular to your first cut, forming an "X" in the body, of the dart, and slightly spread the resulting quarters of the dart.

    Fixed that for you. That was painful to read. Work on your grammar.

    Oh man he's been told countless times about his grammar and it makes me rage that he doesn't do anything about it. This should have some pictures in it. As I read I got bored of it straight away. No Pictures = Write-Up fail.

    I think, tell me if i am wrong, that if you have a snug barrel for your dart then after a couple of shots the widened end would just compress back. So then you end up with a dart with cuts in it and would waste a lot of time to widen them again.

    You know, i can read this clearly and easily. I cant pick the grammar errors at all, without re reading it over and over again. This must be where age and experience pays off, too used to reading through typos from years of internet use (i have been using the internet for chat and forums for around 15 years now).

    There's a reason you kept getting flamed. You see, there's these certain characters on your keyboard. There is the comma "," the full stop, also known as a period ".", and this rule in grammar and syntax known as capitalization. You should really investigate their meaning, and usage scenarios, so that what you type doesn't sound read like a load of rambling gibberish. Then, and only then, will people stop flaming you, and actually taking an interest in what you have to say.

    Good luck.
