Hey just wondering if anyone knows where to get a mini gate valve from? I need one small enough to fit into a Nerf gun. I need one that opens when you push on a button and when the button is released the valve closes again.

Sorry should have put this up straight away I need it to handle the pressure from a CO2 canister being attached

Trigger valves from bladder powered nerf guns are a good bet. Ask around in the Want To Buy thread, somebody's probably got a busted up Magstrike or RF20 they'd be happy to scavenge from.

Do you think they would handle the pressure from a CO2 canister?

Not sure. The one in my Magstrike seems pretty stable though. Its worth a shot. I'm sure somebody will sell you one for a couple bucks, so it's not like its a huge loss if it doesn't work.

If you're using CO2, I wouldn't recommend using the push button valve from the Magstrike. CO2 will make the plastic brittle and either leak or burst.

Bike shop. A C02 canister is used to inflate tyres when you get a flat on the move. Try there for a trigger/valve $20ish.

I think the $20 ones are the tap valve, not the push button ones. $40 ones have the push button valve.

Yeah I had a look today, found one for $28 just didn't have the money to get it. Hopefully it is what I'm looking for.

    Thanks for the help.
