    Hey all!

Newcomer from Tassie here, based in Launceston and I have only just recently got into Nerf, late I know but better late than never! I only have the Maverick at the moment but I am looking into building up my arsenal, next up, the longshot cs-6!

Thanks for the welcome! Don't know much about modding but with some research I'll get the hang of it

Get yourself a Nitefinder and have a play at modding that before you start on a Longshot. For $10 it won't matter if you stuff up a couple

    Oh, and welcome

Yeah, get a NiteFinder and have a little play around with it. The NF is simple yet effective, the NF works off the same thing as the Longshot - a direct plunger system. So they're core 'ingredients' are basically the same.

And to get the NF plunger tube apart, put it in boiling water for a minute. Then, using, tongs, pull it out of the water, put gloves on, and gently prise the pieces apart. It worked for me!

Don't worry, the Mav and NF ar pretty simple. I know both like the back of my hand.

NF's can reach pretty good ranges. The best I've heard is about 9-99ft, but that is probably angled, and modded.

My NF, (one rubber band added, better plunger seal, complete AR removal), gets 65ft flat, (parallel to ground) and consistently gets 82ft angled at 45degrees.

    Hope that helps.
